What We Do
Five running programmes that carry science out of the classroom and into the community.
Earth Experiments
Hands-on experiments that let children feel the planet they live on - soil, water, air and the forces that shape them.
Our earth-science sessions turn abstract textbook chapters into something children can hold. Using low-cost and no-cost material, volunteers demonstrate soil composition, erosion, the water cycle and seismic movement in school courtyards and village grounds.
Every session closes with a question round, because curiosity - not memorisation - is what we are really trying to grow.
Astronomy Activities
Telescope nights, sky-mapping and model building that turn an ordinary evening into a first look at the universe.
For most children in the communities we serve, our telescope is the first one they have ever looked through. We run night-sky observation camps, constellation mapping workshops and solar-viewing sessions around eclipses and planetary events.
Alongside observation, students build working models of the solar system, lunar phases and satellite orbits from everyday material.
Outreach Programmes
Taking science, scheme awareness and school-admission guidance directly into rural and urban neighbourhoods.
Our outreach teams travel to under-served localities across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Beyond science demonstrations, we help families understand the Right to Education Act so that children from play-group to class 8 can secure free schooling.
More than a thousand families have been guided through admissions and government-scheme entitlements through this programme.
Science Behind Miracles
Exposing the chemistry and physics behind so-called miracles, so superstition loses its hold on a community.
Walking on fire, self-igniting lamps, ash from an empty palm - each is a trick with a clean scientific explanation. Our volunteers perform them, then immediately reveal the method.
This programme is among our most requested, because it hands people a tool they use long after we leave: the habit of asking how.
Training Programmes
Skill training for youth and teachers - computer literacy, water testing, food-adulteration detection and joyful teaching methods.
We train young people in basic computer education, personality development and women empowerment so that they can stand on their own feet. Students and volunteers are certified in water testing, food-adulteration detection and science popularisation.
For teachers, we run workshops on teaching through paper origami and low-cost, no-cost material - turning a daily-use object into a lesson. Over two lakh students and young people have been trained to date.
Any of these can run in your school or village
Tell us where you are and what your students need. We will work out the rest together.
Fund a science kit, light up a classroom
Every contribution funds science kits, field programmes and learning material for children who need them most.
