Who we are

About Us

A society working exactly as its name suggests - carrying warmth and light into education and awareness.

Science in the field

Experiments, telescope nights and demonstrations taken straight into school courtyards and village grounds.

Rights, not charity

We help families claim what the Right to Education Act already promises them - free schooling up to class 8.

Two lakh trained

Students, youth and teachers trained in science, computing, water testing and joyful teaching methods.

Sneh Roshni Shiksha Evam Samajik Sanstha works for education and awareness in society, carrying science out of the textbook and into the communities that need it most.

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect the non-privileged society of India to technology, science and education - a contribution, however small, to the path from a developing to a developed nation.

To fulfil this purpose Sneh Roshni Shiksha Evam Samajik Sanstha encourages youth, motivates children towards education, and makes children and women aware of the government schemes available to them. Our organisation has reached more than a thousand families in backward and non-privileged areas across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

We also guide families on school admissions for children from play-group to class 8 who could not otherwise enrol, explaining the Right to Education scheme under which needy families can secure free primary education up to class 8.

Our Vision

Through our motivation and awareness work, more than a thousand children are continuing their education free of cost.

The organisation trains youth in basic computer education, personality development and women empowerment, helping them become self-dependent in their careers. SRSSS has also trained youth and students in water testing, nature study, food-adulteration detection, the science behind miracles, and science popularisation.

To date our organisation has trained more than two lakh students and young people who now carry awareness back into non-privileged areas of India. We also keep students up to class 12 informed about the National Children Science Congress and the NTSE examination held in classes 8 and 10.

Our organisation additionally trains teachers in teaching students in a joyful manner using paper origami, low-cost and no-cost material, and everyday objects.
